Day 1

Meeting point in Paris for a fantastic Cooking Tour in France

As you might all arrive from different places we will arrange a meeting point at the Hotel that we will have booked for you. You will be located in the heart of Paris from were most culinary visits will be conveniently close. A welcome dinner in a lovely Paris Bistrot will be the excuse to meet each other and talk about the days to come of your cooking holiday in Paris & Provence.

Cooking Tour in France

Day 2

Market visit & Cooking Class

Today, after a complete breakfast, we will visit a different area of Paris to discover one of its lovely markets. We will walk around and see how all the best produce from the whole country arrives every morning to these markets. Lunch today will be in a wine bar where we will sample some excellent French wines with an assortment of cheeses and hams.

In the afternoon we will meet with a Chef for a unique French cuisine cooking class. A complete menu of what is cooked will follow.


Day 3

Paris Patisserie Tour & tasting

Today will be the sweatest day. Our Cooking Tour in France will start with a lovely French breakfast with some frech patisseries. Then we will make a sweet tour of Paris visiting a few master Chefs dedicated to desert specialities. And we will sample them. It will also be the occasion to see one of the Chefs making a pastry to show us some of his tricks. A daily market menu in a local Bistrot will follow.

The afternoon will also be dedicated to pastry and bread. Dinner will also be in selected Bistrot to sample some French cuisine in a casual atmosphere.


Day 4

Cheese tour and Wine tasting

After breakfast, we will specialise our visits on cheese shops to taste some of the finest French cheeses. For lunch we will taste an assorment of the best French cheeses with excellent breads and wine.

Your afternoon and dinner will be on your own to enjoy magical Paris.

Day 5

Let’s go to Provence!

After breakfast, we will go to Gare de Lyon rail station to go to Provence. After 2 hours and a half by this fast train, we will only have a 20 min. drive to our second destination, a magnificent Hotel in a Provence Bastide. After some rest at the hotel, we will go for a wine tasting tour of famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Then we will take you to your welcome Provence dinner for the second part of our Cooking Tour in France.


Day 6

Cooking and discovering the Popes city of Avignon

After a complete breakfast at the hotel,  you will meet your Chef for your first cooking lesson. She will introduce you to the Provence products and recepies.At 12h00 we will have our lunch of what cooked. Complete menu with wines. Catherine will have lunch with us.

Then we will go on to Avignon for a visit of the Palais des Papes, and from its garden you will see the famous “pont d’Avignon”. Very close to the Palais, we will have our dinner in a typical Provence restaurant. Complete menu with wines.

Day 7

Luberon & Les Baux de Provence

This morning, after a full breakfast at the hotel, we will visit some villages of the Luberon, made famous by Peter Mayle’s A year in Provence. We will first visit the village of Gordes, from where you can see a fantastic view of the Luberon on our way to lunch in a typical “bistrot”.

We will also visit Roussillon, a village classed among the most beautiful in France. You will have some time to relax by the pool at the hotel, or have a walk in the countryside. Then you will have some time on your own to visit a lovely medieval town built on a roc.

For dinner we will take you to a fabulous one michelin stared Relais Chateau restaurant, with one of the most unique sightseen areas of Provence. Complete tasting menu with wines.

Day 8

After breakfast, we will take you to your train station, airport or local hotel, hoping that you have spent a wonderful week with us.
